In the cigarette manufacturing process, desiccants are often used to maintain the quality and moisture level of the tobacco to ensure consistent production and prevent mold growth.

Guizhou is located in the southwest of China, with complex terrain and diverse climates. Most of Guizhou has a humid climate, affected by monsoons and topography, with relatively high annual precipitation. In summer, the temperature is moderate, but the humidity is high and there will be frequent rainfall. This kind of humid weather not only gives Guizhou tobacco a unique flavor but also creates some troubles for Guizhou tobacco.
Guizhou's tobacco industry plays an important role in China's tobacco industry. Guizhou's tobacco industry has been working to improve the quality and output of tobacco leaves. However, due to the humid weather, moisture-proof solutions are essential to ensure the production of high-quality tobacco leaves.

The first step in cigarette production involves preparing the tobacco. Different types of tobacco leaves are selected, processed, and blended to achieve the desired flavor and aroma characteristics. Desiccants could be used in the storage of raw tobacco leaves before processing to prevent them from absorbing excess moisture.

As shown in the picture above, we chose our ace product: calcium chloride desiccant 200g, to prevent the tobacco from moisture after the field inspection.

Desiccants are commonly used at this stage to maintain the moisture content of the cigarettes within the packs. They can be included in the packs themselves to prevent the cigarettes from becoming too dry or too moist during storage and transportation.

In addition, our desiccants are environmentally friendly and comply with relevant food and tobacco manufacturing regulations. It is important to note that while desiccants can help control moisture levels, their use should be carefully managed to avoid introducing foreign matter into cigarette products, but you don’t have to worry about using Absorb King desiccant because our desiccant is double layer to ensure that it will not leak.
